STORIA: prodotto tradizionale Abruzzese
Il nome vuole intendere che è un prodotto che prende origine dalla storia. Infatti negli anni passati era usanza nelle case contadine che, alla nascita di un figlio, specie del primogenito, il padre o il nonno del nascituro producesse alla prima vendemmia un vino particolare, il“vino cotto”.
Questo vino veniva custodito per anni dentro piccole botti in legno. Lo si apriva, per offrirlo ai commensali, in occasione della Prima Comunione e successivamente per il matrimonio del figlio. Accompagna deliziosamente dolci tipici abruzzesi, dolci con le mandorle o comunque a pasta secca.
The name “Storìa” means that the product is originated from the history. Indeed in the past usually in the farmhouses the father or the grandfather in the occasion of the birth of a child, especially of the eldest son, produced with the first grape picking a particular wine, called “vino cotto”.
Then this wine was kept for years in small wooden barrels. It was opened to offer to guests at the First Communion and later for Wedding.
It accompanies deliciously Abruzzo‘s typical cookies, cakes with almonds or with dried pasta.
